Second Home…

Kids and adults alike get their sugar hit from the ice creamery

Inside the Historic Terrace Houses there are treasures to buy

Attractions bring tourist from far and wide

Make sure you visit the blowhole on a windy day

All is right in the world when im in Kiama

A moment in time…

Posing, ready to smile

How does my hair look

Old friends and new ones

Together forever

Outside in nature

Great moments frozen in time

Remember that night

And the morning after

People and places remembered through images

Hours of fun, kept by everyone

Snap shots of history, saved for the future

What would you do if you were rich?

I always use to joke about what I would do if I won the lotto. I guess a lot of people do the same. My answers were always the same, get a fancy car, fancy house and go first class around the world. As I have gotten older my answer to that question has changed.

The first thing I would do would be getting a new car. Nothing flashy just a brand new ordinary car. I have never owned a brand new car, always second-hand cars. Once my new car is registered and insured I would start getting some more new things. A new phone and laptop would definitely be welcomed.

I guess the rest would depend on how much money I have. Buying a house would be something I would love to do. I would also love to buy my mum her dream house down the south coast.

With our living arrangements taken car of I would by my sisters new cars. I would take care of the registration and insurance for the first year. They could just drive off in their new cars with no hassles.

My absolute dream would be to set up a bookshop cafe. I would move into my new house on the south coast, with mum near by and se up my shop. It would be a dream come true.

I would love to donate some large sums to charity, especially charities that have a personal connection to my family and I. That might sound a little selfish, to only donate to charities that have meaning to me. If I somehow became a millionaire I would definitely share the love to more charities.

I would also love to travel, but not the way I fantasized about. Travel like a normal person. A few weeks here and there. Not the first class, five-star trip around the world. Just a yearly holiday to somewhere new every year.

Well thats some of what I would do if I were rich.

Love the idea or living for now. Living like you were dying. Such a beautiful quote.

Girls Lunch…

Chiming, why can I hear chiming

Hell, its my alarm

I don’t want to get up

No don’t push snooze

Everyone else is already up

Sisters getting ready in front of mirrors

Everyone is excited for girls lunch

Food, glorious food

Our eyes are bigger than our bellies

Ordered and ate too much food

Dinner, who needs dinner after that lunch

Love this quote. Something to tell yourself whenever you start to doubt yourself.

Hoarder or Collector?

When does collecting become hoarding?

I love my books, dvds, box sets and cds, I think of myself as a collector. My walls are nothing but book and dvd cabinets. My biggest expense is shopping. And the only things I wont throw away are my ‘collections’.

When should I start calling my collecting an obsession?

When should I start to worry?

When do I cross the line from collector to hoarder?

I think as long as my collections don’t fall and crush me to death I will continue to think of my self as a collector.

I JUST LOVE COLLECTING…

A quote to try to live by. Beautiful sentiment.

Virtual Milkshake Date..

If we were having milkshakes right now you wouldn’t be able to shut me up. last friday night we had to take my sister to the emergency department. turns out the stomach ache she has wasnt a flu. she needed an appendectomy. I was up all night passing on messages and letting people in. finally got to bed around five in the morning. the rest of the weekend was spent with tag teamed visits to the hospital. im pretty sure mum was living on fumes the whole weekend.

If we were having milkshakes right now I would be so relieved to be having a break. this week is just packed. I apparently lost my mind and thought it was a good idea to book all of my appointment in the same week. Go me. Between appointments and grocery shopping and getting my car registration done. I’m just booked out. And stressed out.

If we were having milkshakes right now I would be complaining untill im red in the face. Apart from everything else that has been happening, we have had no hot water since friday. With my sister being in hospital and it being a weekend we just didn’t get around to calling an electrician. Well it is beyond a joke now. No hot water and its so freaking cold in the afternoons and nights now. I’m surprised none of us had caught pneumonia yet. Hopefully tomorrow will bring some hot water.

If we were having milkshakes right now I would ask you how much drink you had left because im not done yet. The power company is cutting of our power tomorrow. They are apparently working on the lines or some stupid thing. So to top off this awesome week, even if the hot water comes back on it wont matter because we wont have any power. I’ve had to set the alarm on my phone because my alarm clock runs on electricity. I guess it’s a good thing ive got stuff to do tomorrow. if I didn’t I would’ve spent the day with no computer, no internet, no television. I don’t understand how people can live without power.

Well I guess it’s a good thing we’ve finished our drinks. Otherwise we may have ended up sitting here all night . Until our next milkshake date, take care of yourself.
